is there a question hidden somewhere in your post? An issue? something?

If so, please state it, if not, I'll delete the post.

If i were to speculate, I'd guess that you want the facebook crawler in the bot section? Maybe?

This is updated now.

I didn't see a lot of windows/linux/mac/unix browser changes out there, at least the main useragent string sites show little change, so that's all this update includes.

You can use either method to download the current UserAgent Switcher List 2.x.x xml file:
  1. (Regular link, click and browser should do its default action for an xml file)
    [new user link]
  2. (should pop up a save file dialogue box)
    [new user link]

I clicked the first one and saw a list of UAs but
wasn't sure what to do next. Am I meant to copy and
paste that list of UAs some where within Firefox?

As for the second one -direct download- where
should I 'save as'? In the Firefox browser?

You need to install an add-on which can make use of the list. Generally, that one is Chris Pedrick's User Agent Switcher

The easiest way is to save the XML file somewhere. Install User Agent Switcher and open its settings (from Tools | Default User Agent | Options...). Select the Import button, and browse to the file you downloaded. I usually take the option to overwrite existing user agents (checkbox next to the Import button).

Once you import the downloaded file, you will have all of the included UAs available (no restart necessary).

Good luck. HTH

Hi...

Updates to OS/2 Mozilla browsers, based on ESR code:

SeaMonkey 2.35 - OS/2 Warp 4.5
Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; Warp 4.5; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0 SeaMonkey/2.35

Firefox 38.8 - OS/2 Warp 4.5
Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; Warp 4.5; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0

(Yes, the UA string does indeed read 38.0 for 38.8.0.)

Thanks!
