Important: no legacy nvidia driver support for xorg 1.11 yet. My advice to legacy nvidia card users, 5xxx and older, start getting used to nouveau, or don't run rolling release systems. These cards are now getting very old, it's getting increasingly unrealistic to expect nvidia to devote linux driver resources to cards that are run by only a relative handful of people globally at this point.
