Okay, looks like it's now working again with new update to sgfxi as been testing it per h2's instructions via IRC channel. New sgfxi version now works with 565 nvidia driver and 6.12 kernel.

Out of curiosity is there an option for sgfxi to pass an option to the nvidia driver installer to ignore the gcc version when building the driver? I was unable to build the 570 nvidia driver because of a very small mismatch (gcc currently 14.2.0-19 on sid and 14.2.0-17 which the latest liquorix kernel was built) yet the build failed on such a tiny mismatch.

Thanks for any input.

I don't know, I think that would not matter unless it was sgfxi itself that complained, was it?

If it just failed, that's not something sgfxi could do anything about since gcc is going to be needed to make the module, I think.
