zulu put it on hold, he tracks that game stuff, usually when someone puts something on hold I leave it unless I learn for certain it shouldn't be on hold.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering why it was on hold for so long.

Lately I've been kind of wishing smxi had a feature to remove sidux related stuff, leaving behind only pure debian sid. I think this might be welcomed by many with sidux installs that are kind of looking to go another way, but not wanting to reinstall. Pehaps the command could be "smxi -! noslam" ?

Of course it would be nice if smxi -! 31 could continue to work along with this newly requested feature as well as it's been keeping my desktop alive so well for this long.

Thanks h2!

svmi updated to 3.0.4, thanks

The Garage, that feature will be coming soon, it's quite simple in execution but ideally I'd like to add in options to recreate a few good defaults sidux has that improve debian.

Also, there's some technical issues, for example, if the system is using default sidux kde theme, removing it creates an odd thing on login, unless kde 4 fixes that issue.

So there are some things to consider. But the feature will come, I already removed the need to use the -x option to see the sources.list.d sub file removal option in advanced misc tweaks, and probably at some point a super-advanced-misc tweak option will be done that will handle some of these one time updates or changes.

The vbox addons download failed, the file name probably changed.
Please let the svmi script maintainer know this.
Sorry, the download failed for some reason, let's find out why.

VB installed fine (non-ose)

anti, thanks, that failure is caused by virtualbox again failing to maintain stable naming conventions, or was that Debian? I don't know which changed it, but that is a new syntax, thus the failure. Thanks for the bug report, the new syntax breaks the old detection method for the vb version string, which you can see is simply missing from your download url. Sigh.

Can you show me this: apt-cache policy virtualbox

It's possible that the non free syntax changed as well.

Also show me: dpkg -l | grep virtualbox
