To be technical, it's an option in the kernel, CONFIG_LOGO. If that's on, the logo you pick is chosen to display at the top of the screen. There's no option to disable the logo at runtime, so unless you build the kernel yourself, it's going to be there.

Yea I actually compiled my own kernel with the liquorix patch and config and just turned off the boot logo. Thanks for the hard work keep it up

To remove logo from boot screen just add "logo.nologo" line to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX in /etc/default/grub and run sudo update-grub.

Thanks, your little tux penguins makes my screen look like not adjusted, two penguins are not exist in right top side of the screen :-)
