Multiple installs of MSIE

As usual, evolt.org is on the browser case. You can download standalone IE install zip files from their site, they have most of the major IEs available in that form, 5.01, 5.5, 6, even 4 for NT, don't know if that runs on Windows 2000 or not, have to give it a try. These will let you run standalone versions of IE for testing purposes. In other words, no jumping back and forth between computers to test a simple webpage. Just unzip the zip file to the directory of your choice, then click ieexplore.exe and it starts up the version of your choice. Certain features won't work very well, if at all, cookies for example. But it's definitely good enough to test your sites with. Back to top |
