I am trying to use the tool usbip which allows to bind to a USB device connected on a remote host/server. USBIP is part of the linux-tools package where, as it looks like, those applications in that package are all hard linked to the kernel version in Ubuntu. So you cannot just install the linux-tools-generic version and run those tools with an active liquorix kernel.

Interestingly I am able to use cpupower which is also part of that package, so someone at some time must have added the correct header version for that one.

Is there any way that the linux-tools package, or at least usbip could be provided with the correct headers? As far as I can see I am unable to fix this from my side
