Hi there, quick question (not sure if you guys have a discord, that'd be pretty handy/cool), I installed liquorix on my mint installation and there is nothing listed when I lsmod | grep cpufreq, and there is no cpufreq folder in cpu0. I would usually then try to set it to performance, but there doesn't seem to be anything to set. Does this mean I'm technically in a performance mode or, could someone advise how I could set that if needed? I make music, so looking to set up my system for the least amount of xruns.

Hey there, can you provide the output of inxi -Cxx and sudo cpupower frequency-info?

Also, the 6.11 series is unsupported, the latest kernel as of posting is for v6.12.7, which also disabled amd-pstate by default, preferring acpi-cpufreq if no kernel parameters are set to re-enable (such as intel_pstate=enable or amd_pstate=active).

As for Discord or such, right now just this forum and the GitHub repository are the best ways to open a discussion or report an issue.

That's unfortunate about the previous kernel version being unsupported, as right now, it's the latest one I've been able to get working with nvidia drivers in Mint.

inxi -Cxx:

Ok, in order cpupower to be in your path, you have to run it without sudo. So cpupower frequency-info should be enough.

Also, can you provide the output of inxi -bCa? This should get us more information about what type of system you're running.

Do you have the same issue on Ubuntu's stock kernel?

From what I'm seeing, something about your system is simply not reporting capabilities to allow the kernel to manage CPU frequencies. I've seen this before on enthusiast gaming motherboards, the only solution is to reset the bios settings completely and reboot. Updating the BIOS/firmware may help as well.

However, with that in mind, your system is running to spec. Per Intel's own specification [1], your CPU is not unlocked and maxes out at 4.4ghz, with a base of 2.6ghz.

From your own output:
:: Code ::
  Speed (MHz): avg: 3667 high: 4208 min/max: N/A cores: 1: 4201 2: 4200
    3: 4208 4: 4200 5: 4200 6: 4200 7: 4200 8: 4200 9: 2600 10: 2600 11: 2600

The only thing left you can try is adding intel_pstate=enable to your kernel boot parameters. Although, if nothing is detected now, it's unlikely this will help. Let me know how it turns out.

EDIT: Checking Gigabyte's site, you're already running the latest F11 BIOS version, so updating it won't help: www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/B560-DS3H-AC-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios
