Hi!
Thanks for working on this kernel, so far it has been a great experience.
Today I downloaded the latest update [(5.1-24.1~sid)] and with that wifi stopped working randomly.

When I compare the dmesg output from the latest build with the dmesg output from earlier builds one line shows up repeating when booted with the latest build and that is:

[ 4.644802] iwlwifi 0000:02:00.0: Failed to allocate queue

Network device (per lspci):
02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless-AC 9260 (rev 29)
Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi
Kernel modules: iwlwifi

inxi -xxxiz shows (this is the output of inxi when the network is not working):
Network: Device-1: Intel Wireless-AC 9260 driver: iwlwifi v: kernel port: efa0 bus ID: 02:00.0 chip ID: 8086:2526
IF: wlp2s0 state: down mac: <filter>
WAN IP: No WAN IP data found. Connected to the web? SSL issues?

If there is any additional information that I can provide i'd gladly do so.
Current workaround is booting the previous build.
Kind regards,
rx7f

Hmm, I think that the iwlwifi patches in 5.1.20 might be problematic, or at least only cause problems with the kernel 5.1 base. I'll try putting out a 5.2 kernel and lets see if that helps first. It's normal for a patch backported to a previous version to cause a regression that only impacts the older kernel.

Hello!

With the 5.2.0-3.1-liquorix build today the bug seems fixed.

Thanks again and have a great day.

I had the same problem - in my case it is fixed with the first 5.2 kernel too!

Even better - my EZCast Wlan-USB-stick (see: https://github.com/brektrou/rtl8821CU) based on Realtek rtl8821 is also working now with Debian 10!

Thanks!
