Hi,

I am running Liquorix on my Ubuntu 18.04 laptop. I was trying to install Virtualbox and the installation fails building and installing the driver. I am simply a user so I'm not familiar with how this is supposed to work. Can I not install Virtualbox running Liquoirx, or is it something I can do to make that work?

Have you tried using the official packages from virtualbox.org?

You can't use a kernel module/package from Ubuntu 18-04 with liquorix, you have to, as damentz notes, use the direct installed downloaded from oracle/virtualbox, then run the installer manually. dkms is probably failing, remember, liquorix is a current kernel, and not everything can or should work with it on old frozen pool systems like 18-04.
