Hello,
I just installed the latest Liquorix Kernel on my Ubuntu 18.04 [fixed version typo] rig and after the first reboot I get the error stated above and the system freezes.
I am somewhat of a novice with this but have been a light linux user for many years and have decided to try to make the move away from Windows so I would like to get the best performance out of my Games I like to play.

I have the nvidia 396 driver installed.

Thanks in advance!!

Ubuntu 10.4 is far to old to even discuss, unless that's a typo.

could maybe be a problem with dkms, in general, using distro packaged drivers with kernels that are going to be much newer is not a very good idea. Liquorix is made for and supports the latest ubuntu, and debian sid/testing, as far as I know.

Is this related:

On boot I get:
:: Code ::
nvidia_fb: unknown NV_ARCH

Using Liquorix kernel:
:: Code ::
~$ uname -a
Linux rmdata 4.18.0-5.4-liquorix-amd64 #1 ZEN SMP PREEMPT liquorix 4.18-4.1~sid (2018-09-02) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Wondering what's causing it and if there's a way to get rid of it, even though my machine boots normally with the Liquorix kernel.
