4.14.0-4.1 nVidia 387.34 - GPL-only symbol 'ex_handler_refcount'
While it worked fine in 4.14.0-3.1 it now fails in 4.1, but the old trick still works:

What a weird anomaly of the release candidate patches for 4.14.5. I'll revert all of the release candidate patches and push out a new kernel. Hopefully the problem patch gets excluded or reverted before the next release.
