Hi,

maybe someone here can help me to get the Liquorix Kernel installed in Debian 9. I was on Debian 8 for some time and used this kernel (from MXREPO) and really liked it. Now want to test it for Debian 9 and wonder how to do that here. I am a newbie so sorry if I missed some descriptions here.

I just installed Debian 9 and it came with this Kernel: 4.9.0-3-amd64

Thanks a lot

add the liquorix repo and install it.

liquorix.net/

or just use the mx repo one, that will work with stretch for longer because I believe MX is based off of debian stable.

No, the kernel headers for the version in the MX repo require gcc-4.9, and that was removed in Stretch. The best solution for now is to use the official Liquorix repository. When that repo starts requiring a newer gcc than is available, I plan to add Stretch backports in my repo on the openSUSE Build Service.
