Hi. I am suffering from the problem where I get spammed with "unexpected IRQ trap at vector 07" on bootup and can't get past that. I was able to boot up just now with acpi=off on the kernel line.

I think this is the correct patch:

patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/766231/

Is it possible this could be fixed in Liquorix soon?

This kernel works for me, except that ethernet is disabled, even if I try to use a USB-to-Ethernet adapter I have.

Installing this kernel appears to fix the major problems. Maybe that should have been obvious to me...

Here is the patch as it reached the plain kernel:

git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=ba714a9c1dea85e0bf2899d02dfeb9c70040427c

I wonder if there will be any backports by the time Liquorix gets to 4.12?

Kernel just released earlier today has that patch, pulled from the latest stable queue (to be in 4.11.9).

Just update to 4.11.0-8.2 / 4.11-16 or later.
