Problem with 4.4-0.dmz.4-liquorix-amd64
I am currently running 4.3-3.dmz.6-liquorix-amd64 without any issues. After upgrading to the above kernel, I have faced one problem: the machine does not suspend properly.
The display, etc. switch off, but I can still hear the cpu fans running. If I try to get wake up the machine, nothing happens :-( I have to hard reset it. This is not seen in the 4.3 series. My machine details: :: Code ::

There's some serious issues with suspend in 4.4. I've already backported 2 patches that solve suspend with XFS and BTRFS into 4.4, there's probably more patches that will crop up in the next few weeks. So far as I can tell, Greg Kroah Hartman has slowed down on the stable kernel releases lately and a lot of the major fixes, especially for things like these, are not making it into the stable kernels.
For now if you run into any issues, you can install 4.3 from the past branch: :: Code :: deb http://liquorix.net/debian sid pastOr you can just add the past branch to your existing sources line: :: Code :: deb http://liquorix.net/debian sid main pastRegardless, as I find any hotfixes, I will apply them to Liquorix since they affect the laptop I use for work as well. Thanks for the suggestion. I was not aware of the past branch. Good to know that.
