• KZSU. Stanford University's radio station. Eclectic, good DJ's
  
• KFJC. City College of Los Altos, California, long the leader in streaming webcasts. Some of the better college radio DJ's in the world.
  
• KDVS. From the University of California, Davis. Decent college radio.
  
• KUSF. The University of San Francisco, not always available.
  

Streaming Webcasts - Shoutcast.com

• Limbikfrequencies or here. Website here. Pretty decent, ambient trance stuff.
  
• SomaFM.com. Home of the dronezone, groovesalad, and several other streaming radio shows.
  
• Dub-Beautiful.org. From San Francisco, there's a long tradition of this kind of thing there.
  
• Frozen Soul. Black metal at its finest, good streaming quality. Don't ask me why I like this stuff, it makes coding horrible new content into websites somehow tolerable...

I reset my router the other day and forgot to add a port

if you use vlc and attempt streaming radio you should see the port number that is failing.....so add that

for me, its port 8000 and I use tcp/udp
