Currently when sgfxi creates a new xorg.conf it always sets

in the Device section.

KDE has that annoying bug in Kwin, that without triple buffering it starts eating too much CPU: bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322060

So after every sgfxi update I have to change it back to "true". Can you please add a way to preserve the current setting?

sgfxi -h is your friend

sgfxi -b

enables triple buffer.

sgfxi -C

doesn't do any xorg configuration at all.
