Is Liquorix a Zen kernel no more from 3.13 onwards?
So I just noticed that Liquorix has been brought up to Linux 3.13 when I dist-upgraded my system.
:: Code :: $ uname -a
Linux box 3.13-5.dmz.1-liquorix-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Feb 23 22:02:52 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux But I find that the ZEN string is missing. Is this a minor cosmetic change, or does this mean that the Zen kernel-patches are no longer used in Liquorix from here on out? Back to top |

Well I checked liquorix patch source for 3.13 and it doesn't have any patches, file size 0 inside archive.
Booting the kernel shows liquorix but, for instance, BFQ is not available, although it's in the config. It seems that smth is not quite right with this build. Back to top |

Kirurgs, you're correct. I didn't diff the patch correctly. There's a new version out that fixes the problem.
