Well, unfortunately, I will need a stack trace to identify what the problem might be. Can you take a picture next time you get a panic?

:: damentz wrote :: Well, unfortunately, I will need a stack trace to identify what the problem might be. Can you take a picture next time you get a panic? It doesn't seem to be a liquorix problem but a kernel12-4 issue. I tried booting linux-image-3.12-4.towo-siduction-amd64 and get a boot panic too. To take a picture I need some more time. Back to top |

kernel boot panic [solved]
Problem solved by reinstalling a previous working system with partimage.
No more boot panic with linux-image-3.12-4.dmz.1-liquorix-amd64. I guess something went wrong with initramfs. Always good to have GRML system rescue and a working system backup! Back to top |

kernel boot panic [solved]
In fact the kernel boot panic was caused by upgrading libc6
from Debian/Sid to the Debian/Experimental version. Experiments can be dangerous! Back to top |
