SANS. The SANS (SysAdmin, Audit, Network, Security) Institute.
Secunia.com. Excellent resource, the latest security alerts for a wide range of products, like MSIE's unending stream of critical security holes.

Technical websites with good security sections

Security Mailing Lists

BugTraq. Probably the best known of all the lists. This page has the signup information.
Full Disclosure. An unmoderated high-traffic forum for disclosure of security information. Lots of junk, some jewels.
List of Security email list serves. Includes archives of material from different lists.

Readings, Whitepapers

Whitepaper by MS on switching Hotmail from Unix to Windows. One of the best, and most damning, whitepapers published, since it was written by MS people, demonstrates just why Unix is a superior server OS for this type of application.
