Thanks for looking at this. I'll investigate that route.
I've been in contact with a number of Linux users all trying to get this to work properly. All we've been able to come up with is to compile the driver into a new kernel. Intel certainly hasn't been very helpful. Their position seems to be, "Here's your driver, here's your firmware. Now leave us alone". It look like they care even less about the Windows users with drivers only for 8. Sager Notebooks had to release drivers for the other Windows OS's. Anyway, if your advice pans out, you'll have helped to make a bunch of Linux users very happy. Thanks again. Back to top |

I've managed to get this working using the 3.11-rc2 kernel and the amd64 .deb 325 beta driver from here: launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa/+sourcepub/3364901/+listing-archive-extra
