After ages of wondering when inxi would get into debian sid & testing, and thanks mainly to unit193, who did the final packaging and lintian tests, and also found a debian mentor to upload inxi, inxi is now in debian sid, and should be in testing/jessie fairly soon.

:: Code ::
apt-cache policy inxi
inxi:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 1.9.6-1
  Version table:
     1.9.6-1 0
        500 http://mirror.peer1.net/debian/ unstable/main i386 Packages
     1.8.45~siduction.1 0
        500 ftp://ftp.spline.de/pub/siduction/siduction/ unstable/main i386 Packages

So for all sid systems, to install inxi, do: apt-get update && apt-get install inxi

it's been a long time coming, and here it is.

It has also been automatically added to ubuntu saucy, the latest one that is, we hit the pre freeze point for that pool so that's also good news.

I'll post updated install directions on smxi.org and inxi.org / googlecode wiki once it enters into testing as well, which I believe should take a week or two.

Now inxi 1.9.7 has made it to debian testing, that happened because it wasn't updated to 1.9.8,9, 10, or 11 in sid, to let it have 10 days required to enter testing too.

:: Code ::
apt-cache policy inxi
inxi:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 1.9.9~siduction.1.0
  Version table:
     1.9.9~siduction.1 0
        500 ftp://ftp.lug.udel.edu/pub/siduction/base/ unstable/main i386 Packages
     1.9.7-1 0
        500 http://mirror.peer1.net/debian/ unstable/main i386 Packages
        200 http://mirror.peer1.net/debian/ testing/main i386 Packages

Obviously my local inxi version are all from live upstream trunk or branches for dev/debugging.
