Hello,

I asked this question over on the debian forums and was recommended to post here: forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=85466

I have the Advanced-N 6235 wireless card.

To be clear the device does work, I just have to hit it with modprobe after booting (modprobe iwlwifi) and then "turn it on" with the network applet for it to connect.

Are there any known issues with the kernel and the drivers for this card? Any tips on debugging this further myself would be appreciated as well.

I can provide more info if needed.

Thanks

Hello,

inxi from the testing repo does not have the -b option, however -v 2 is said to be the equivalent.

inxi 1.4.23

this means you are using Mint, right? LMDE?

Very hard to debug issues with Mint debian edition.

inxi is not in debian repos, and only Mint has failed to update their repo version to current, which is 1.8.xx, so if people are using 1.4.23, they are usually running lmde.
