FYI

I am on grub2 but keep a grub legacy at my storage site

Recently, 16 August 2012 I noticed the version number did not change but the size dramatically dropped from around 400 kilos to 115

The drop is because the unpack no longer contains stage* files etc but just the docs

for those who need grub legacy I have a deb at

Note I only kept the 32 bit so sorry if you are looking for the 64 bit
