that exploit is nothing, and it's fixed in the newest version.

I tend to ignore these things since they are really usually only things that exist in theory only.

you'll note, for example, that towo could not duplicate it, and he does the nvidia blob for siduction.

Nor could most other people there. A few could.

The only exploits I worry about are when a remote hacker can actually pierce my system using a flaw in ssh or the linux kernel or some networking stack.

but thanks for the link, I'll update sgfxi with the new drivers right away.

sgfxi updated, and also removed older 295 and 302 drivers from the alternate driver install list to avoid people running them without knowing.
