My HP Pavilion crashed completely in a similar way to my netbook after loading the latest 3.2-5.dmz.1 liquorix kernel for amd64.
It was happy with the previous version.
Now I set this one too on Debian as default, upgraded to latest, works fine, writing on it.

I will be happy to collaborate with troubleshooting and booting into the liquorix to post output.
Disks in my amd64 are IDE not SATA.

I booted into liquorix to see if something would be useful to post.
The only thing that changed from what I posted for the netbook is the first line:
:: Code ::

powernow-k8: ph2 null fid transaction 0xC

Apart from that, everything is pretty much the same, not finding disk by UUID, no disk in busybox ls /dev , etc.

error 34 means that the upgrade warnings could not find the status file, that means the interweb connection failed, or my server was briefly down. More likely a connection issue than server being down.

I have two liquorix and two Debian kernels installed on this machine.
My machine is set to run the aptosid defaults, init 3 to text mode.
So, init 3
become root
update-initramfs -k all -u -t
it re-generated boot info for all kernels
init 6 to reboot
chose latest liquorix
failed exactly as reported previously.

ck, I didn't expect that to work, what it does is remove one possible fringe case from the problem set, thanks. Removing possible causes allows one to focus on the actual causes, debugging kernel issues is very low on the list of fun things to do

Jos, I think I know what is causing your problem. Can you add nothreadirqs to your kernel parameters when you boot?
