UnifiedKernel doesn't sounds like a good patch set. There's a reason wine is in user space, it's always changing and a lot of things don't belong in the kernel space.

In fact, the only thing slowing down wine is Direct3D wrapping and wrong implementations. There's nothing stopping a wrong implementation from slowing down the unified kernel too.

I want to see more pick up of this project and more compatibility with the newest kernels before I take any deeper look. Their last patch was for the 2.6.34 kernel - that was a very long time ago.
