Hi Folks

First post here.
Thanks for the excellent kernel.

----------------------------------

Latest update to Liquorix kernel (Linux 3.0-3.dmx.2-liquorix-amd64) from (Linux 3.0-3.dmx.1-liquorix-amd64) does not load.

System stops at:

loading, please wait...
/etc/re.local: 1: /etc re.local: <my password shows up here>: not found

Never gets to CLI.

I have been using the Liquorix kernel and updating successfully for many months.
I have two installations of Linux Mint Debian (64bit) on this computer.

The one tracking "Debian Testing" did the upgrade fine.
The second, tracking "Debian Sid" is the one with the problem.

Seems to be something about my password.

Now I am tracking SID, but I am pretty much a Linux newbie, so any explanations consisting of using the CLI will have to take that into account...

Thanks much.

EDIT:
I solved it myself by replacing the old /etc/re.local that was the problem with the one in the other LMDE partition that worked.

All went fine.
Running from that new kernel now...
