Hi!
I see this in "dmesg":

Please grab inxi and then show this output: inxi -nxz

That will give all required networking information. The z will mask your mac address for pasting here in public.

I was just passing by and remembered seeing this:

It may be helpful, although I've never heard about putting eth0 into promiscuous mode.

Did you test a different kernel? There's no bug like this on the kernel bugzilla - it would be strange if this was the only one.
