I use VMWARE Player. And when using more than one core in a guest it want me to set kernel.sched_compat_yield=1

Doing that I get:

error: "kernel.sched_compat_yield" is an unknown key

Is that function removed in 2.6.39-1.dmz.1-liquorix-amd64?

Yes, you're using a better cpu scheduler that does not need keys like that.

Google for the Brain f#ck Scheduler.
