The clamdrib Add-on for Mozilla Thunderbird/IceDove gave the ability to auto scan incoming mail for viruses using clamav. I have a lot of email to and from Windows users and I hate to think that I'm passing on a virus. clamdrib served that purpose well and enabled me to inform the sender that he/she was infected.

Alas clamdrib recently ceased functioning with IceDove 3.1.10 and furthermore it has disappeared from the Add-on list. I suspect the maintainer no longer supports it as he hasn't provided an update for more that 2 years.

Is there anyone out there who could provide a working update? The software is open source and written in Java. I have the last available working version and I can provide it for those interested enough to take it on. I'm sure there are many out there who would show their appreciation.
