Bluetooth doesn't work anymore
Hi, my usb bluetooth adapters doesn't work anymore... I don't remember when it's happened but at least a month ago.
USB devices are correctly reported by lsusb but there are no modules loaded (everything works fine with stock debian kernel). Another -totally off topic- question: could you include badram patches (http://rick.vanrein.org/linux/badram/) in liquorix tree? Thank you very much! Michele Back to top |

Although the badram patch looks interesting, there's already a solution that is less invasive:
gquigs.blogspot.com/2009/01/bad-memory-howto.html This is a howto that shows how to use memory tests and the memmap command to get around it bad bits. Furthermore, the last patch available for the badram series was back on 2.6.28. Something must have gone wrong since no one is working on it anymore. Here's something helpful from the comments: :: Quote :: You can map multiple intervals of your ram. Lets say that you want to "ban"
20 MB from 550 to 570 and 35 MB from 800 to 835 You can write at the end of the line mentioned in the post above "memmap=..." multiple times. Like this: # kopt=root=UUID=a9f39ac2-c67f-418e-93ce-967bdda5e3a4 ro memmap=20M$550M memmap=35M$800M Back to top |
