I just reinstalled my machine and discovered PHC is no longer enabled on the 2.6.37 kernel. Is this permanent, or just waiting for an updated patch?

Please continue if possible. It gives a little extra battery life, and makes my CPU run about 10 C cooler. Thanks for the quick reply.

Thanks for putting PHC back in damentz! My laptop is feeling much cooler now. Working great on my new crunchbang install.

A lot of laptop users should be able to benefit from that PHC setting...maybe leave it enabled unless it breaks something else?
