Using lsmod I can see what drivers/modules are loaded with my Liquorix 2.6.37 kernel.

However, I don't see the intel_idle driver/module in the list. Am I missing something, or is it not included in Liquorix 2.6.37? If not included, any plans to do so?

I'm having a problem with fan noise on my laptop, and wish to set the intel_idle.cstate.

The option is enabled in the kernel, but I don't know what's required to activate it.

EDIT: What happens when you try something like this?

:: Code ::
$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuidle/current_driver
intel_idle

Yeah, seems to be enabled when I look at the current driver. Thanks for that.

Damn this noisy Vaio laptop!
