It just occurred to me that as my vaio only works properly with fglrx 10-11, I am not going to be able to install that version using smxi now that current is 11-01 and previous is 10-12. Or am I missing another option?
I am thinking ahead to installing a testbed LMDE sid or testing alongside my working lmde squeeze.

sgfxi -o 10-11

For any advanced non standard graphics driver install, use sgfxi directly.

sgfxi -h
for list of options
sgfxi -L d
for list of available drivers
