After serveral moths I tried to use my (rarely used) webcam again.
Last time (half a year ago) iI had to use is via that LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so command and it worked then fine (with the exception of skype)

Now with kernel 2.6.36.2-5 it first can be used only with pretty slow frame-rates and dies afte a while blocking/freezing the process/application in a way that it cannot be killed (i.e.camorama or kopete). And that happens without or with that prelooad command.

Error messages in dmesg are:
:: Code ::
zc3xx: probe 2wr ov vga 0x0000
gspca: ISOC data error: [24] len=279, status=-70
gspca: ISOC data error: [17] len=144, status=-70
gspca: ISOC data error: [27] len=378, status=-70
gspca: ISOC data error: [24] len=471, status=-70
gspca: ISOC data error: [20] len=243, status=-70
gspca: ISOC data error: [1] len=736, status=-70

Has anyone experienced similar problems lately or even found a solution on tha ?

regards

Hmm, strange :-)
For whatever reason the problem seems to have gone with 2.6.36-3 .dmz1

Thanks and regards
