Hi,

It would appear that this is not an issue in current Liquorix Kernels but it may or may not be a future issue for JACK users. Just thought I'd pass it along to damentz.

Hmm, very interesting - I'll keep that in mind whenever I need to enable cgroups.

So that's why Jack is broken in Ubuntu Natty. I knew limits.d/audio.conf was being ignored but had no idea why. This renders Ubuntu Studio pretty much useless until they figure out a fix for this.

Edit: ...the kernel config setting in question is RT_GROUP_SCHED and it certainly breaks things. I wonder what it benefits? Anyway a kernel with this disabled makes things work again.
