I filed a bug report bug 599614

I usually use smxi to upgrade kernels which seems to do other things than just an aptitude full-upgrade. So while it seems unlikely to me just wondering if this could introduce the bug.

either you have an old install from when they used hda instead of sda, or you have a bug, unrelated to smxi
