I saw a mention of removing sidux/aptosid and running plain Sid. If someone has done this I would be very interested in the steps taken. Would it be simpler (cleaner) to do a netboot install of sid and start from scratch? I really don't want to have to reconfigure everything but it might be worth it. :-)

i run sid, from a fresh install

but i think to purge sidux, all you need to do is to fire up synaptic and find and delete all packages from the sidux repositories.
