apt-get clean is fine
I've tested here and there's no problem cleaning the cached packages (apt-get clean) before running debdelta. It seems it updates the packages based on the installed ones (that could be why it can't create new packages for 'localepurged' packages). Also for example google-chrome-unstable is always downloaded afresh, but that may be due to the way it's packaged.
So any recommendation for using only apt-get autoclean instead of apt-get clean seems to be unnecessary. Back to top |
