Hi
Yesterday the information status notification thingy in Kde 4.3 kept flashing eth0 connected and then eth0 disconnected. Today there is no connection.
inxi -F gives me Card Intel 82801DB PRO/100 VE (MOB) Ethernet Controller driver e100 v: 3.5.24-k2-NAPI at port cf40 BusID: 01:08.0

This is on a Toshiba Satellite A40 with Kernel 2.6.33-1.dmz.3-liquorix-686. I am assuming that it has died. Is there anyway to check this?
I have tried sidux kde lite install disk and it does not recognize the ethernet connection
I have checked the cabling and this is not the issue.
