Tried the liquorix kernel because the .32 trunk kernel causes the EDAC amd64: WARNING: ECC is disabled by BIOS kernel failure message. Still getting the message when installing liquorix kernel that I need to enable non-free firmware, but it's already installed. Back to the .30 kernel that's the only one that works without giving me the EDAC amd64: WARNING: ECC is disabled by BIOS kernel failure message. The liquorix kernel runs except for that, but I have non ECC ram. I wonder if this issue is going to be resolved? I guess my question is, is this really kernel failure if I don't have ECC ram, and will it hurt anything?

If you have standard non EEC ram, then this issue is irrelevant for your system, a kernel warning that is simply telling you something that doesn't relate to your system isn't important.

Thank you very much for your reply. I was thinking that this wouldn't effect anything, but I wanted an opinion from someone who knew more about this than I do.
