Dear admin,

One user is confronting some problems with his video cards for the old Radeon X300. By the way, perhaps someone may know a prompt solution for this big headache. I quoted down there below his post:

“Hello everybody, as many know, for some time AMD / ATI announced on their website that the new video drivers will not support more video cards older, and mine is a Radeon X300, so the last driver that works on it is 9.3.

My questions are: what is the best way to install the driver? The owner is better? For the 3D desktop effects are working fine if I just did a kernel update and installed the package "firmware-linux" ?
