Dear h2,
running the smxi we get :

./sm-lib-warning: line 185: syntax error near unexpected token `;;'
./sm-lib-warning: line 185: ` ;;'

but everything seems that are ok.

Check if you make sense this error...

Best Regards,
Mike Kranidis

There's been no changes to that file that would cause such an error, can you please use paste.debian.net to paste your: /usr/local/bin/sm-lib-warning file so I can take a look at it?

somehow or other your download of this file got corrupted, I have no idea how that happened, and it's amazing to see that this happened > 1 time.

The old file looks like it overwrote the new file, which as far as I know is technically impossible, so the cause of this I will consider as unknown but maybe to be discovered in the future.

Please: rm /usr/local/bin/sm-lib-warning

and then run smxi again to see if the behavior continues.

I have no idea at all how this could have happened however, clearly something corrupted in the overwrite of the old file.

Please let me know if you use any other features of smxi that might account for this.

That fixed it on my box.

No idea what might have caused the corruption, maybe a bad download of an upgraded smxi? As both of us are in Greece, maybe it was the revenge of an old Greek God(dess) ;)

I like your explanation, let's leave it at that for now, but let's also look for further signs of her intervention in the future, at which time we'll have to figure out what kind of offering she wants us to make her, or what service we have to provide to keep her happy in the future.
