I am using smxi for Sidux 2009.01 xfce. I am real new to smxi.

For about the last month now when I run D-U in smxi, I get a warning of packages with bugs and it shows (unfixed). This list never changes and I was wondering how to deal with this list. I have been answering no, I do not want to continue.

So do I just keep waiting and sooner or later they will get fixed ?

The list of alerts, if a yellow list, is there for all users to read. Yellow is basically the standard mode for Debian Sid, so the point is to read it, pay attention, then proceed if nothing in there is a problem for you.

Because smxi has a large user base, these warnings have to extend in time quite a way, so not all will apply.

It's important to understand the fluid and unstable nature of Debian Sid when you use it.

Now, a red warning always means stop, don't proceed, it's dangerous. Yellow is an alert that you should pay attention to, that's all.

We were talking last night about modifying this wording a bit to better reflect this reality, and to add some more advanced features to that alert section.
