Solved. Install the package shared-mime-info and VMware Player starts/runs as it should.

I'll add a preinstall test for shared-mime-info in svmi and install that if it's missing and available. <That test is now added to svmi, thanks. If missing, will install the package prior to installing vmplayer> Back to top |
