Partition Magic HELP

I tried using Partition Magic 7 to resize my partitions. It came up with error 117 and now my system will not even boot.

Originally my HDD had 3 partitions: 1 main and a second extened drive broken up into 2 chunks

When i first started up the program it showed that I had about 20gig of unassigned hard drive at the end of the drive. I added it to third partition and then thru sucessive operations i attempted to move the 20gig to the root c: drive.

It performed all the moves except the last one and now my system will not boot. Tried using XP recovery console and fixmbr but to no avail. I have alot of data I need off this drive so format is not an option. Anybody got any ideas?
