Yes, but it's interesting that you're actually getting any bios messages at all. That suggests it's a bios problem, not a motherboard problem.
Or a power supply problem. Your motherboard is working, but something is going wrong. If I were you, the first thing I'd do is grab a known good, proper wattage power supply, swap power supplies, then try it again. I'd also put in a new cmos battery, reset the bios. Hopefully your motherboard has a reset bios option, that returns it to factory preset values. But if the bios itself is corrupted, there won't be much you can do if you can't reset it, depends on the motherboard. |
