I've got a new box that I just set up with Debian Linux. I want to get Squid running on it so I can use the Linux machine to restrict Internet access to a whitelist of sites. I've installed Squid, but have no idea how to configure it, how to add the whitelist, or how to get other computers on the LAN to use this machine as their proxy.
This is entirely new ground to me and I'd appreciate any pointers. I've tried reading some of the documentation available, but it all seems to assume that I already have a pretty thorough knowledge of the subject, which I don't. Thanks in advance, Matthew |
