LCD monitor one-time dimming - monitor or card?

I guess I must be the only person in the world who opens programs full-screen on both my 1600x1200 and 1024x768 screens then? I'm sorry, I don't want bits of pages in view, I want to see the whole thing - and with dual monitors I can do that.

I surf full screen at both res's on whichever screen is currently active too. I hate bunches of smaller windows.... If you've got 5 windows open, you're kidding yourself that you're multitasking....
